Bwahahaha...love the last line. I'm more concerned with maintaining my man card so no reading of instructions will take place here! No patience for such nonsense.... 🤣

I've heard that the latches on the BlueOx can be quite a pain to unlock when the RV is at an angle, incline etc. The Roadmaster seem to unlatch much easier.

After talking to my local hitch center they were bigger fans of the Roadmaster and so I went with their recommendation.

The brackets are a little more involved due to the crossbar but it's really not that big a deal to hook them up when we tow.

It sounds like BlueOx is also a very good product and their brackets seem simpler to hookup to the bar but at the end of the day they are both good products.

You can get a arm that the Roadmaster tow bar will hook up to without the X arm, check out the EZ5 arm , the X brace just makes it stronger.
I am also a fan of Roadmaster Brackets and have been for over 20 yrs, they are a more robust built and haven't had the problems that some of the other brackets has had.

I did see those but after installing the EZ4 it was pretty easy and doesn't take to much time to hook back up so I'm happy The latches do release pretty easy when disconnecting.
