See the sig block. Extended cab, long bed, 4WD, with a high cap. Probably over 120,000 tow miles and doing fine. The 2013 Bus has 98,000+ and the Silverado had been to Alaska 2x on the last Bus.

Well,
One of our toads is an '11 GMC Sierra 1500 Extended Cab Short bed 4x4. I really like it as a toad because the later models of GM, need the negative battery cable disconnected and we don't have to do that with ours.

We tow a 2013 Avalanche. It's the best overall truck/suv/car we have ever had. It's my 4th one and would buy another if GM would make them again.

2010 Ford Ranger 2X4 Sport 5 speed manual. So simple to hook up, just put in neutral, unlock steering with dummy key and release park brake.
It even backs up pretty good as long as it's not too sharp of a turn and you watch carefully.
Bicycles or motorcycle in the back, and off we go!
Happy Glamping.

ours is an '11 avalanche .. tows like a dream.. they are heavy,6000#'s and need 10,000# bar,, probably why they tow so good in side wind.. also if you use like a ready break and are in hills or mountains, be sure to check you towed by touching tires and wheels ..1st time in mountains i had mine set on 5, and worked great on flat, in mountains brakes got hot. so turned down to 3 and all good. on downhills it will kick in if engine break hits or you break for coroners ect.. just saying
