Low backup camera

I would like to have two backup cameras down low at the rear fenders (left & right). These rear fenders are fiberglass so a small bump will crush them. Lots of thing down low that can't be seen on a rear camera that is mounted way up high. Any suggestions ?

Mines always on while under way. It costs nothing extra to leave it on and can't do any harm. I even installed a second monitor for the copilot.

However, I once had a blow out on the front right of my Wrangler (pre TPMS) and only found out about it when someone flagged me down. I looked in the monitor and the Wrangler looked just fine. No shake, rattle or roll. When I pulled over, it was running on the rim but nothing unusual was detectable on the rear camera system.

I guess I'm the anomaly. I occasionally toggle to check on the toad but my screen is usually set to the GPS screen. My RV has a rear window and I can just see the tip of the radio antenna of my VW Beetle in it. I have since added an orange "76" antenna ball so I can see it more easily.

With the TPMS, gauge cluster, rear and side cams, GPS, toad brake monitor, XM radio, LBCU to scroll through, who’s got time to look ahead? Isn’t that what rumble strips are for?

I do, it's great for verifying when passing vehicles that you have cleared the vehicle you want to pass and is safe to pull over into that lane again.

I added a Zeroxclub wireless camera that stays on all the time and gives me a clear view of traffic behind me for a good distance back. Works as well as a review mirror!!

Factory backup camera is great for backing up to trailer or toad. It's B/W but the wireless is color and clear as a TV picture.
