First off, welcome to iRV2!
Second, you should add a "signature" to your profile. It contains whatever info you want; most people put info about their coach there, so they don't have to type it into each message. Instructions for adding a signature are
here.
As for the hitch wiring:
1) According to the owner's manual (link
here, page 20), your coach came with a hitch connector that had both 7-pin and 4-pin connectors on it. Does your coach's hitch connector match the one in the manual, or has someone replaced it?
2) There is no need for a converter on your coach, and there should not be one. To check if there is a converter, look under the coach and follow the wiring from the connector forward. If there is a converter, it would be mounted in line with the wiring, somewhere within the first three feet from the hitch connector.
3) The best way to figure out what is happening is with a test light or voltmeter. Do you have either of those tools? Start at the motorhome's hitch connector and verify that each signal is where it should be.
4) For an idea of what signals should be on what pins, see
this diagram ("Vehicle-Side 7-way RV Standard").
