Wiring toad 2015 Terrain

Had 2015 GMC Terrain wired for toad using diodes. Vehicle lights work fine.
Operator said he had to use 3 diodes because of the grounding system of vehicle.
Has anyone ever heard of this, Roadmaster kits call for only two diodes?

Thanks for any tips on towing a terrain

On our 2014, the power outlet is dead in the acc position. I installed an outlet direct from the battery to power the brake set up.

If you have the 4 cal with electric power steering, check it a few times to ensure that it tracks properly. Friends have theirs lock and slide the front wheels a couple of times. Dealer replaced a part under a recall and no problem since.

Wiring toad 2015 Terrain

Dennis,
Thanks for the tip on tracking.
I installed 12volt power outlet from Roadmaster RM 9332. Connect to fuse panel and fed. No drilling thru firewall.

Dennis how do you have your lights wired to tow?

On the last two toads, I've used the Blue Ox kit that uses a new bulb cut into the tail light housing. Completely bypasses the factory wiring.
