12 volt socket

In my coachman Freelander 32 BH 2011 model front dash and overhead bunk bed 12 volt socket are not having any power.What could be the problem.Are there any 12 volt fuses blown out or some other problem.Any suggestions.

The dash power outlet might be controlled by the ignition, I'd check with the ignition on first. If it still has no power, check in the chassis fuse panel. The overhead bunk power outlet most likely is on the house battery circuit, check in that fuse panel. If neither outlet has a blown fuse, you'll need to test the center contact of each outlet and see if 12v (+) is present, meaning that it's a ground connection issue.

BFlinn181 is right. By 2011 I do not know if the dash socket is a cigarette lighter socket. If not I would bet someone tried to use it as such and blew a fuse. Then tried the bunk socket and blew that fuse.

Most U.S. cigarette lighters use elements that can safely be powered by a 15 amp fuse.

Ok i would like to report that both 12 volt outlets are now functional.As suggested fuse were blown away.Bunk bed was on the house battery fuse panel and cig lighter was on fuse box under the hood,fuse number 72.Both replaced and everything is working fine.
