1995 Winnie Searcher Water Pressure Problem

Hello! Help!
I just purchased a used 1995 Winnebago jamboree searcher. The kitchen faucet worked fine until I connected it to an outside water source. Then the faucet popped off! I put it back on, it works fine with the tank water, but once again it flew off when connected to an outside water faucet. Sorry if this si a stupid question- am I doing something wrong?

John

No. I didn't think the pressure was that high... And is there a better way to fill the fresh water tank? If I need a water pressure reducer can I get one at home depot?

John, I have a Jamboree Ralley, so I am sure they are identical.(or close) You fill the tanks through a fitting on the driver side. Mine is behind a locked 6" door. If you hook up to city water, you will need a pressure regulater. Some capsites have high water pressure as it is their own tower.Got mine from wally world in the RV section. When hooked up to city, turn off water pump. mine is also 95 model.
