Wanted to start a new thread from the rental return thread to generate more responses. I've decided to pass on the rental return unit. Just couldn't get fully comfortable and the wife wasn't crazy about the floor plan.
However I'm about ready to pull the trigger on a 2005 Coachmen Leprechaun 292. Very clean with just over 29k mi 2 slides and a floor plan the wife likes! It's a 29 footer and I was hoping to stay in the 26 to 28 foot length but I can live with the length.
Best thing is I can get it for $25000. I need to act this coming weekend as the guy has another interested party but because I called first I get first look.
Most of what I have read it seems the Leprechaun gets some pretty good reviews.
Anyone with experience with the Leprechaun? Be interested to hear your opinions on this coach.

Just got ours and so far we like it a lot.....Floor plan is critical. If you like it, it's a plus..
Same unit and year? Floor plan isn't as important to me as it is to the wife. I wanted a rear walk around bed beyond that I was pretty flexible. I do like the entertainment center in the cab over bunk.
So far everything is pointing to making a deal on this coach. Going to the bank Friday to get a check and then go look it over. If it checks out I don't think I can pass. NADA average retail is $39,600. There are two others I can find on the web both with similar miles the average asking price $47,000. So I'm getting some bang for my buck here as long as it checks out.
If it doesn't pan out after using it for a season I should be able to get my money back on a trade or sell outright. Maybe even make a few bucks on it.
