Anyone ever had to have the windshield in their 2006 26' Aspect replaced? If so, how was the sun shield brackets dealt with? I'm curious, though I haven't head to deal with that situation yet, and hopefully won't ever. I did take off the shield in preparation of having the windshield gasket resealed.

We have a 2005 Aspect and we did have our windshield replaced. I think Safe-Lite or one of the big glass companies did the work. It seems to me that the brackets were attached to the cowl above and not the windshield. At any rate it was not a problem for the installer. Took him about an hour or so.
