I was wondering if anyone has any feedback on the handling and steering qualities/improvements of the new 2008 14,500 GVW Class C chassis from Ford. Ive read that people were changing shocks and adding steering stabilizers to the previous chassis, just wondering if the new chassis has improved in these areas. Thx for the help,

Dave

Welcome to irv2.com, Dcdanger. I guess nobody has any experience with the latest Ford chassis yet, or at least nobody who is reading this forum. I'm going to add a shortcut down in the Ford Chassis forum to see if somebody there might have something to offer.

I have a 2008 Jayco 31SS on a Ford F-450... It has Helwig Suspension .... Only went on one trip so far and it handles great... I see no need to change or add anything....

So your Jayco class C is built on a pick-up truck chassis? I didn't know Jayco did that! Bagman57

I suspect he meant E450 (van chassis) rather than F450.
