Was the original post. It failed to mention the number of slides. Which is important information in determining the correct weight. If they had a 32 foot RV with 3 slides 12600 would be a little low. But in their next post they said they had a 32 foot with one slide and that would be a good weight and a decent distribution. If it is a newer RV with a GVWR of 14500LBS they have plenty of room for more gear!
Generally the scales at the weigh stations are kept in better shape than the DOT scales. The tire pressures should be written on the inside of the driver door just be sure that you have the correct load range tire for your application. Also make sure that your tires haven't past their shelf life.
On my unit the rear tires all 4 of them are recommended to be 80 and the front at 75 I took mine to a moving company and had it weighed and got the following results.
Steering Axle Net 4420
Drive Axle Net 9360
Gross Weight 13780
That was with a full tank of gas and I wasn't inside... Not a lot of room for more gear.
