2013 itasca Cambria thermostat blowing fuses

When I turn electric heat on, it runs about 3 or 4 minutes and blows the fuse in the thermostat. Any help?

Need more information. What type of thermostat and what type of electric heater? Are you blowing an actual fuse in the thermostat, at the 12 v fuse/circuit breaker panel, or a 120 v circuit breaker in the power panel? Since it's a 2013 model, have you contacted Winnebago or a service dept. for hints? It would be very rare for a 12 v thermostat that just sends a signal to turn on or off a 120 v heater to blow a fuse unless wiring is incorrect or shorting out due to compromised insulation on the 12 v control wires.

its the small fuse inside the thermostat, heat comes on, runs about 3 or4 minutes and blows the small fuse.

O.K., thanks for the information. You'll need to check where the control wires from the thermostat go that turns on the furnace. Also check the wires on the screws on the back of the thermostat. Perhaps a 'tail' was left on a wire that is contacting ground or another post. It's curious that it's taking 3-4 minutes to short out, it could mean an issue with the thermostat or in the switch on the furnace. You should call Winnebago, they have lots of experienced technicians.
