2014 Itasca Parking Lights Turning on (Parked)

I've got a 2014 Itasca Class C (31k if it makes a difference) on a Ford E450 platform. My wife previously told me the parking lights on the RV where on when she came home, but went off as she was pulling into the drive. No one was going in / out of the RV. I went out, the parking lights were not on, I fired up the RV let it run for a few minutes turned it off, walked around and noted the lights went off as expected after the initial delay.

Today, I went out side and saw them on for myself, no one was in / out of the RV or cab to have caused them to come on. I opened / closed the cab door and waited, the lights did not cycle off as expected. I ran the RV (started the motor) for 5-10 minutes, then closed the cab and lights went out.

Thoughts?

Check the wires in the trailer plug for loose connections and touching together.

You have tail light and battery power back there.

However, suspect most trailer B+ power is on a t-pin plug is relay controlled off IGN?... or should be...?

Hey twinboat, Thanks for the info. I went under rear by trailer hitch and started checking wires. I noticed that someone had made up a jumper wire from the coach tail light harness (brown wire) for running lights, and tied it into the separate wire harness for the trailer plug, (brown wire). As soon as I unhooked the jumper wire my parking lights went off. I still have to check proper operation of the trailer light harness, but at least this problem is solved. thanks again. Now to solve Guido95s' light problem.

Went under today, tugged and poked at the trailer wiring harness, everything seemed nice and tight, still had the factory black wire cover over the top of everything. The trailer harness was not the four pole type I'm used to on the Taco, it's a round plug (nothing in there when I flipped the cover up).

Nothing, like an empty shell ?

Should be a bunch of pins or blades.

Twinboat,

There was a connector, it was a round circular / metal connector (male version of this plug: https://www.zoro.com/buyers-products...eature-product).
