2014 Thor 33SW front Lippert levelers too low

I just purchased 2014 33sw super c. Front levelers are 6.5 inches from the ground when retracted. Seems too low. Any suggestions?
Thanks

Actually being that low is not all bad, the lower it is the more height you have to gain in leveling. As long as they are not below the wheel rim to street height you should be OK.

There is a youtube video on modifying the front jacks to gain about 2". It does throw off the auto leveling and you have to set a new zero point.

Thanks, called Thor and they suggested after market product as solution. May not as much of a problem as I anticipate.

Good point and this was mentioned by the dealer also. Also said any alterations would void lippert warranty.
Thanks

Thanks, do you recall where the utube video is. I saw great photos of a modification that gave 2 inches of height. Was wondering about resetting the zero point. Dealer looking at it now and will make suggestions based on what he finds out.

I have the 35 sg outlaw, my front Jacks are also that low, to be honest I take my motorhome to glamis, to the open desert dry camping, and I have never dragged the front jacks, also my house has a very steep driveway and it never touches the jacks while backing up, I believe since they are so far forward next to the front tires they will be fine.

Thanks Vinnie 909, I guess I will try it with it like it is. Just seems to add another something to watch out for. Just added 2 additional 6 volt batteries and considering solar panels as we enjoy boondocking as well. Thor said there was no one time fix for levelers because of the coach design. BD

I have had my Chateau 35 SK for almost 2 years now with no problems with the front jacks being to low. To my knowledge they have never touched anything while traveling.

Thanks, I plan to try it for a while as is. At least I know there is a cost effective fix if it proves to be a problem.

The only issue with them that seems to come up is when leaving camp grounds people sometimes stop me to tell me "hey you jacks are still down!" Lol
