2015 Coachman Freelander 29KS, Anniversary Edition

We have found the following Class C motorhome. It seems like a nice one (pristine condition), but we are newbies. We have done a ton of research, but know that we have a lot yet to learn. This is listed for $57,900 from a private one-owner. Does this seem to be a decent deal to you all? Is the Freelander a decent RV? We know it is more of an entry level and are okay with that for now. I welcome ALL comments!

2015 Coachman Freelander 29KS, Anniversary Edition

There are 3 2015's for sale on RV Trader (rvtrader.com) that should give you some idea of baseline asking prices. One of them is Chevy powered. Also several later models there.

I paid a little less (about 8%) than the private party was asking when I bought mine (via RV Trader). He had quite a few "tire kickers" prior to my cash offer so he was satisfied and it turned out that the rig was even better than he advertised (a rare thing) so we were both happy.......and I actually made a new friend in the process. I believe most private sellers are prepared to take a little less than asking price......especially near the "end of the season."

I got a "belly full" of dealers (and their beat-up, dirty junk) early on and made up my mind to buy only from a private party. Just my 'sperience.

Good luck in your search.
