2015 Seneca owners tv reception.

I am having trouble making all 3 of my tvs compatable with cable, satellite, and the air antenna. I read on one of the forums that a Seneca owner could watch all three tvs at the same time either on cable, satellite,or air antenna. I just want to be able to connect to cable, and turn on all 3 tvs and have cable working on all three at the same time. Same with satellite, and air. Can any of you Seneca owners do this with all three tvs? If you can do this with your Seneca, how did you get the system wired? Thanks for any input.

You probably have a B.O.M.B. (Box of Many Buttons) that takes the signal from multiple sources and distributes that signal to the various TVs. You might also have an amplifier for the crank up antenna. The amplifier needs to be off to receive clear cable or satellite reception. Often the cable TV signal may be weak, especially when split to go to 3 TVs. You might investigate getting a signal amplifier to improve the signal so it reaches all 3 TVs. The quality of the cables, splitters, and the B.O.M.B. also can reduce the signal strength.

In our '15, each TV has its own coax connection which is switchable from the antenna or cable. We have the entertainment center option in the cab-over, and the antenna amplifier switch is located behind the overhead TV. If the green light is lit, the amp is on. If you're connected to cable at a campground, make sure the amp is off.

Satellite is another story. Our coach originally had a Sat antenna mounted to the roof (standard equipment, I think), but the original owner of ours had it removed. I never did figure out how that thing was wired, so I bought a Dish "Tailgater" portable setup and use it. I put the receiver behind the cab-over TV, and bought a wireless HDMI system (IOGEAR Long Range Wireless 5x2 HDMI Matrix PRO with 2 Additional Receivers) to send the Dish programming to all of the TVs. It works really well so far.

I should also note that all of the TVs in our coach were connected to the DVD player in the dash using standard RCA cables. It worked, but the picture was horrendous. I was pretty disappointed to see Jayco put decent high def TVs in there and not bother to use HDMI connections. I think they fixed that in the 2016's.

Thanks for the replies to everyone. If I have a bomb box, or amp. I'm not seeing it. I do have a switch for the sat. This is used to turn on the roof sat. Dish. The other switch is for the air ant. Small round button. I know it is near impossible to diagnose problems I am having via this forum. The dealer is having problems trying to figure the system out, and they have the MH.

Dont know if it helps. We have a Dynamax with similar set up, couldn't get anything on the outside tv or the rear bedroom tv. Dealer couldn't either. I traced the wires and found both were damaged and shorting out. I cut out bad sections and spliced, now it all works, all three tvs.
