2016 Dynamax Force & DX3

Found out some interesting thing on the 2016 Force and DX3.
  • Both models will have the same basic floorplans.
  • The Force will come in two models, the Force and the Force HD. They are the same except the Force HD will have the same 9L Cummins engine and Alison 3500 transmission as the DX3.
  • The DX3 will be the more luxurious coach with the nicer hard woods and other features.
So basically you pick level you want. Simple, simple with more power or more luxurious appointments. So with the Force HD you can pull just about anything you would ever want to pull without going to the DX3.

Pricing difference between the Force and the DX3 will likely be about what it is now with the new Force HD being in the middle. So basically you're looking somewhere around a $25K MSRP step between each one.

Sounds good to me.

I've been researching Super C's and discovered this as well. I also noticed that while all models will use the Freightliner M2 chassis, they won't be optioned the same. As you go up the lines from Force to DX3, the chassis will be optioned for more vehicle and towing capacity. A standard Force will probably max out around 10k towing while a DX3 will be over 20k.

As I've said my understanding is that there will be a Force HD which will use the heaver chassis, 9L cummins engine and 3200 Alison transmission that is used in the DX3 so you'll have the 20K tow ability as well. Price wise it should sit about in the middle between the Force and DX3.

Now if I can get the DW to move away from a big dually pickup and a 5th wheel to the Super C which would be much better when carrying two big dogs plus the ability to take the grandkids along which doesn't work with the truck and 5er. But that's a whole nother story.
