2016 Redhawk cab over marker lights

Was up on the roof yesterday noticed all marker lights with moisture in them. The light is secured with screws on the top which gives water a direct path into the light mechanism. Won't last long any fixes out there to stop water infiltration?

Lenses should have a rubber gasket to prevent water from getting in, if it`s not there or misshapen that`s a problem. The auto parts store may help with gaskets or rubber to make your own.

Been raining here most every day so I haven't gotten back to the lights. Will check it out first dry day.

Must be a JAYCO failure issue. Our Greyhawk had the problem too. Traded it after 11 months before we got a warranty repair made.

Redhawk lens issue

If there is a gasket it may be that you will need to remove the mount and silicone under it to seal from the bottom.

If it is the screws leaking the rain in a O ring under the screw will stop the water.

I am replacing old bulbs with LED bulbs applying bulb grease on electrical fitting, applying bead of silicone around base of light and on screw that holds cover down. Don't think it will leak anymore. While at it I am replacing all external rv body lights with LED bulbs. Will also apply bulb grease and bead of silicone around all light covers since I discovered water in brake light covers as well as backup light cover. Drivers side brake/backup light assembly has light sockets pointing up so water will pool inside it causing corrosion (which has already begun). Backup light clear insert allows water intrusion so silicone that too.
