2017 Thor Four Winds 24F E350 0r E450?

Does anyone have an explanation for why the cab portion says E350 on the 2017 but the online specs and the insurance company tell me it is an E450 chassis? Could it be an E350 with an E450 chassis ? Probably a dumb ? But curious minds want to know.

Where on the cab portion are you talking about? The door jam sticker from Ford? Have you run the VIN on the Ford site?

It's a Thor so it is probably an E350 since they cost about $2.250 less than an E450.

It may have a 2016 E350 chassis.
A GVWR of 14,200 will tell you its a E450

The 2017 Thor Axis specs say E350 but the VIN and GVWR, on my Axis, comes up with a E450.

The 'sixth' digit in the chassis VIN will tell you. If it is a '3'....E350. If it is a '4'....E450.
