Been a long day in the motorhome search again. We actually found a Dynamax Force 35DS and in Texas that we liked and put a deposit down on it. Now I am 14 hrs from Texas. Something kept bugging and there is nothing more important than Service and Warranty work. So I emailed Dynamax and ask them if other Dynamax dealers could and would do the warranty work? Well I got the typical yes of course it will be taken care of.
So I went further. There are a couple of Dynamax dealers within a couple hundred miles of me but none carry the Super C coaches. I called all of them and ask if they would take care of warranty issues and service issues. Guess what answer I got??? The answer was basically no. One said they would in their off-season but not during busy season. Another said they would but would work it in when they could but there would be an additional diagnostics charge since I didn't buy it from them.. We all know what that means.
Now I understand its better to buy from a place that you plan on doing your warranty and service work, but if there is not one around that carries the kind you want, what the heck are you supposed to do?
I am going to call the Factory back tomorrow and tell them the answers I have been getting from the dealers. Im sure they will probably discuss it with the dealers and then they will be mad at me and that will cause problems also. I hope all this makes sense but its been a long day..
