2018 Thor Pop Outs

Seems my outside storage compartment is wet after it rains. This storage is within a pop out. The pop out indicators state out of alignment, but when I take it to Campers World they too cannot get the pop out aligned. I feel the leak is not from the pop out being out of alignment for the leak has just started. Taking it back to Campers World and good luck with that. It is under warranty, but I feel I will be going around and around with Campers World.

You need to supply some additional information- year and model would be a good start.

Posting a picture of your slide out we some indicators telling us where you think it is leaking would also be helpful.

Are you driving in the rain or just sitting when you get water in your storage compartment?

I take it you're talking about a slide that has an outside storage compartment(s) in the bottom of it? You say "pop out indicators". Is this a reading you observe on a control panel or does the slide just look out of whack?
No matter what, this does need to be addressed and adjusted/repaired, otherwise you'll probably end up having problems later.

As far as the misalignment causing the leak, like you, I wouldn't this would be the cause. As asked by luvlabs, does the leak occur when moving, sitting still, both, with slide in, out, or both?

Myself, I'd first check the seal around the hatch frame. Make sure it's in good shape and making contact all the way around. If it looked good, then I would try to see if maybe one of the compartment's corner seams has cracked. I might even get a water hose out and try to duplicate the problem to see if I could narrow things down.

2018 Thor Pop Out

It’s a 31FE Freedom Elite. The storage container leaks in the parked position. The slide out indicator states out of alignment, but this never leaked before, for this particular slide out always showed out of alignment. I called Corp. Campers World which is reaching out to the local Campers World. Pics will be coming.

Water is a storage compartment should have no bearing on a slide being out of alignment. I'd be checking the seal around the storage door. You said the indicator never worked so this is a new problem. A couple of beers and a garden hose should tell the tail.

CW just confirmed it is the gasket that needs to be replaced. Cost $260.00 out of my pocket. I asked how can this be? For the RV is less than 2 years old it should be covered under warranty. CW stated they do not cover leaks. The gasket was installed in correctly. CW stated to take this matter to Thor. I would have thought that CW would have taken care of this.
