30 day fixups on my new MH.

My dealers service mgr. says that I have to take the rig to the chassis dealer to install the horn on the unit that was sold to me minus a horn. Some opinions please....thanks in advance.

Two things....What kind of rig... and did you buy this new/ or new to you?

Was it promised to have a air horn?

Your service manager is correct. Anything that pertains to your chassis will have to be taken to the appropriate chassis dealer, eg. Chrysler, Ford or Chev for warranty service and repairs. But you are not obligated to use them for regular routine maintenance. As long as you follow the maintenance schedule it can be done any place and by yourself.

When I bought my motor home I was told anything that had to do with the rv the dealer will take care of it and anything related to my Ford chassis will have to be taken to my Ford dealer.
I do hope your list wasn't too extensive and everything was complete to your satisfaction other than the horn.
Travel safe
Pat

If your State has a Safety Inspection requirement to license a Vehicle your dealer is responsible to make sure the horn works prior to licensing the Vehicle for you to drive it off the lot. A horn is considered part of a safety inspection.
