5 Star Tuning

I've read several long threads on the value of 5 Star Tuning, but mostly on Class A Ford gas engines. Do any of the Class C faithful have experience with a 5 Star Tuner on the Ford 6.8L V-10 engine with 305 HP/420 ft-lbs? I'd be mighty interested in your observations. Thanks in advance.

I would think it would be close to the same on that version of the v10 as well. Bit of advice, dont wait, dont think about it, just order it, best thing I ever did for my coach!

Go to the Vendors Spotlight section...hundreds of posts about the 5 Star on both class a and c.
Have it on our 2012 Forrest River Lexington / Ford V-10.
It DOES make a difference, and I would buy it again for any rig I bought.
Not going to get into specifics...been talked about mucho in the Vendors area.

5 Star Tuning

I have owned my 07 31ft Class C Winnebago just a week now (drove it home with toad from Long Beach, CA over the Rockies to Denver). I bought it from a private party who took meticulous care of it. SOoooo this comment is sort of second handed but FWIW: The previous owner installed a LOT of goodies; e.g., Helwig anti-sway front and rear, SteerSafe, Bilsteins, Gibson RV exhaust and 5 Star.....+ other "stuff". He said the investment in 5 star trumped everything else he had done.....by a bunch. He said better throttle response, more power, better shift points and actually a teensy bit better MPG. He stated that before 5-star he topped the "Grapevine" in CA at 35 to 40.....after 5 star he routinely topped it at 50!

This is my first MH, so I have no basis for comparison, but I consider the fellow I bought this rig from a new friend. Everything about the MH was better than he described it...........so I guess that's another endorsement for 5 star.

Just a bit more data for your data bank. Hope it helps.

Safe travels. ed s
