By 2006 Ford claims the 6.0 had the lowest complaints of any engines they were using.

Our next door neighbor is a Ford heavy duty mechanic. I talked to him about it. His claim was the engines were pretty good but did not take chipping very well.

This is in a F550 chassis not a van chassis. But it still could be a 6.0 for all I know. Ok

If it is in a F series chassis it will be a 6.4 if the chassis was a 08, e series never had the 6.4,wont fit, a 07 Fseries would bebthe 6.0, the best year for a 6.0 is 07 hands down, has all the improvements.
