97 Coachmen Santara wiring problem

I recently purchased a 1997 Coachmen Santara 292SO. This motorhome is in fantastic condition with very little miles. The problem is someone put an aftermarket radio in the dash. The wiring is a mess. They cut the factory plugs out and had everything twisted and taped together. The radio wasnt functioning so i decided to put a new CD player in it. I have figured out the wiring with the help of Google and the stereo works great. The problem is I have 4 wires coming from under the dash and go under the carpet towards the rear of the vehicle. I am assuming these are from the 12v coach system but i have no idea what they are for. On the old radio they were tied into the power/ground wires. I have a big orange wire, a purple wire, brown and red wires twisted together. Anyone have any ideas?

Often the dash radio can be switched to operate through the ignition and chassis battery when in motion and then a switch will change it to house battery for stereo use when parked. Usually just the 12 v(+) is switched, the ground and second 12v(+) used to keep the memory presets and clock remain on the constant on 12(+) source from the chassis battery.

Also, could the wires be to speakers installed in the house part of the RV or even an outside speaker in a compartment?

Thank you! I will take a multimeter and see if there is a hot wire. Makes sense.

I did a little more investigating. The purple wire is tied to "power step down" light on the dash and then continues towards the rear of the vehicle. The red and brown wires that are tied together are crimped into an in-line fuse under the dash and then continue to the rear of the vehicle along with the orange wire. I checked the house fuse panel and none of those wires end up there. There is an outside entertainment panel with speakers, radio control, etc. I havent pulled it out yet, it's sealed to the side of the motorhome.
