Abs brakes.

Hi I have a 1995 ford E-350 montara Tioga class c motor home...I am just wondering if anyone else out there is having the same problem I am having...my abs light keeps coming on not sure if it's a brake problem or just a sensor.

Welcome to iRV2.

The ABS system , and the light coming on, is not necessarily an indication of problems with your service brakes ; BUT , it can be ; so it should be checked out.
Does the light come on while driving and stay on till the next time you restart the coach ?
Or come on and go off while your driving ?

The first step of any ABS light issue would be to pull the sensors and clean them. Mine just pull out of a friction housing, some have a single bolt that holds them in. All pretty much work the same way, and if they are dirty, they will throw the code. Step two is to read the codes.

OK , if the light goes out with the next start up ; when the control module checks continuity to the sensors; then comes on as the unit moves , cleaning the sensors would be the first step, your chassis may only have three sensors each front wheel and the top of the differential .
More questions.
How far/fast do you have to drive before the light comes on ?
Have you had any tires changed lately ?
