Autoformer vs progressive ems

I been having problem with the parks electrical not getting enough power. I need 30amps hookup. I read that autoformer give you a 10% increase when it detect low voltages. The progressive will shut the power down if it detect low voltage. Any how what you think? Which one your recommend? Give me the pro and cons.

I can only speak to the Hughes Autoformer. Been using it for about a year now and I haven't had a problem. I like that it's a simple solution with no bells, whistles or moving parts to fail. My only complaint: It isn't water-proof, yet it has to be placed outside (at least on my rig). There is an optional kit for mounting internally, but I don't really have a place for it in the tiny compartment on my Class C. My solution is a bucket over the top, but that may be a little too tacky for some;-)

I highly recommend!

Me thinks you may need both, (however I have not had and find I not need either).

As you noticed they do different things.

The Progressive EMS monitors voltage, frequency and I think one other thing and if any are out of range you get the clunk of darkness (It shuts you off)

The Autoformer tries to correct low voltage (just one thing) and in one case high as well.

The correct answer to your question is thus BOTH

Park--_Autoformer----EMS---RV

In looking things over and reading I decided to go with the Hughes Autoformers.

We used an autoformer for years with our class A's. we found it did shut us down in Canada when the power was too high. Now that we are buying a small class c, we are just going to use a surge protector.
