Made me laugh out loud! And may I assume you ride a Harley as well. Just sold my 1990 FXRS...used to laugh (kindly) when people asked me about mileage on the bike! (Figured it was just a conversation opener!!) Love your attitude.

1999 34 foot Thor towing a 6000 pound trailer/car combo is taking 30 litres for 100 kilometers.... It translate for 8.57 mpg at 60 mph and it takes about the same without the trailer

I have a 2016 Thor Freedom Elite 23h and I was told 7 to 9 mpg by my dealer.
The best I ever got on the highway was 9.6 mpg, and in town just going to do laundry and shopping, including warmups to operating temperature it came out to be about 5.5 mpg. That was when I was parked at a friends and making several trips into town for about a week.
I would say that without all the morning warmups, that the 7 to 9 mpg I was told was pretty accurate.

We drove our '18 Winnebago 22R V10 to a favorite campground, about 90 miles away. Loaded but no toad. According to our optimistic ScanGuage, 9.9 mpg. On the way home pulling our son's Explorer 9.5 mpg.
You could have knocked we over with a feather!
Our RV doesn't get very good mileage for a car, but it gets great mileage for a house!

The only time my 2009 Conquest is good on gas is when I am parked LOL. Drove From Ottawa Ontario to Whitehorse Yukon through Michigan, Wisconsin, North Dakota, Montana , Alberta Canada and Northern British Columbia....every kind of terrain...while pulling a VW Passat on a dolly. Mountains killed me....curves killed me...stop and go traffic sucked....only time it was good on gas is on I-90 in North Dakota....straight...flat and had a tail wind.
I didn't calculate MPGs....I knew going in buying this, it was going to be expensive. If you complain about MPG....shouldn't have an a Big RV...nothing cheap about them.

Our 2017 Thor Chateau 26B got 6.89mpg over 5,250 miles this summer towing a Prius on a dolly from Virginia to Las Vegas and back (West through the upper route (mountains, and back east through the lower states). Our friends with a 34' Hurricane flat towing a toyota sedan averaged 6.81mpg.

Took my first trip in my Little 2018 Georgetown. From Denver to Central City KOA straight up the Rockies, but of course, what goes up, gets to come down. No water, winterized, pulling 2008 Wrangler JK , 115 miles RT, 19.03 Gal,
6.04 MPG. Motorhome only has 1350ish miles on it, 1100 is is for Indiana to CO dealer.
I like this engine, but I'm thinking it's a gas hog even more so than my heavier 8.1 litre GM Workhorse that I had even tho it only had a 4 speed transmission.
The V-10 does seem more powerful and seems to pull the long 6 and 7 % grades a little easier.
I'm hoping it gets a little better but I also had a little 2018 CL C that got 6 or 7 MPG also, but I thought that big class C overhang making it even less aerodynamic was causing that.
I guess I'll have to see, but I'm hoping for 7 to 9 MPG AVG

Average miles per gallon with Ford V-10
Check out this video https://youtu.be/5FVJn-dR6o0 when you see how much altitude effects performance you realize that comparing your mpg to other’s is a fools errand. Too many variables, grades, speed, winds, weight, and fuel. The energy per gallon varies greatly, especially in states that add a lot of additives (think ethanol) and thus the mpg. I have driven several routes numerous times and I get better mileage when not burning California gas

This is so true. I like following this old thread. There is always a MPG thread going on any given RV forum.
The reality is that your mileage is your mileage! There are to many variables to make a decent comparison. You could put 10 drivers in the same RV running laps on the same day on the same course and get different mileage. The temp changed, the wind changed the fuel load changed. Each driver has a different style.
Should you keep track of your mileage? Yes so you can spot problems and fix or have them fixed.
Now lets get ready to go camping.
