I installed a Banks Power System on a Ford V10 Class C and have had a number of issues with the "Check Engine" light coming on due to the oxygen sensors being located farther back in the headers than the factory exhaust manifold. Banks technicians told me they are coming out with a chip to solve this problem. Has anybody else with Banks systems on newer Ford V10 Class C's had this same problem? It's a little aggravating having to go to the dealer to get the light cleared.

We had te Banks system on our 1999 Minnie Winnie, V-10 and never had a problem with the check engine light. Must have decided they need to fix something that was not broken.

Thanks for the feedback. I think the oxygen sensor/mass airflow sensor combination was changed in the newer Fords, and that's part of the problem. I'm going to talk some more to Banks and see if they expedite this fix. I'm glad you didn't hqave problems; they must have fixed something that wasn't broken.
