Battery or Electrical issue

2013 Freelander 19CB
I take it for a 2 mile ride at least once per month to exercise it.
About 1 month ago it wouldn't turn on. I jumped it and the battery level was perfect. I double checked and nothing was left on to drain the battery. I drove it around the block and parked it. Over the next few weeks, I would turn it on to make sure all was OK and it was.
This morning when I tried to turn it on it was dead again.
Does anyone have any ideas what the issue could be?
Thanks

A lot of difference between a battery surface charge, and a deep charge.
A 2 mile run won't fully charge a discharged battery, 3>4 hours of run time, minimum . Rec-commend a battery tender or small solar panel to maintain battery if no 120v available.

EDIT: Or complete battery disconnect, the Electronic Control Modules , engine & trans, are a constant drain , and cars on a car lot will drain their batteries in 3>4 weeks.

Exactly what is "IT", (in/on your 2013 Freelander 19CB), that "wouldn't turn on", and "was dead")?
Wondering
