Word from Quadra in an email today is that the lifetime warranty on the cylinders is only for the original purchaser. NOT transferable if you sell your rig.

Just so you know ....

So, all things considered, it looks like I will be getting the wireless system. It's a good price, looks to be a great system and it's a great deal on the factory installation.

Thanks, everyone, for your thoughts and suggestions. All have been quite helpful. It's why I really like iRV2. Quite an excellent resource.

Sorry. Wasn't clear on that. I knew the warranty didn't transfer to a new owner. I meant that the fully auto system would make the unit more appealing for resale. Although honestly I wonder how much it would cost to remove the equipment and re-install into a new unit if / when I trade up at some point.

Easy enough to move the system, I suppose. After all, they'll ship the entire system to you for a self-install, so you could probably order hoses or other assorted parts because "they've worn out" (if you know what I mean). As for "the fully auto system would make the unit more appealing for resale" ... Just think of having a potential buyer standing there as you push one button and say, "You have to see this!" ... Well that would just clinch the deal, wouldn't it?

Hoses?
When I had mine. There were no hoses.jack and pump all on one mounting plate.
Only wires to run from battery and dash.
What makes it so nice if you have to repair it.
Just remove non working jack. Bench repair or ship yo Quadra for repair. System still useable.
