Bigfoot M29RQ price question?

Anybody buy a used, gas, Class C recently? My friend Xcess is looking at a nice Bigfoot. He likes the all weather features of this manufacturer. The one he is looking at is listed at $29K. I looked it up on NADA and low retail is $18 and average is $22K. It is being brokered at a dealer so they need to make a little money too. I think he should land closer to the 22K mark.
What have you experienced buying a Class C recently?

When a dealer buys a vehicle in trade they will look all over the nation to find similar models priced low they will print this off and show you the paper and say "This is what similar units are selling for." You should do the same. The average is between the high and the low. The dealer generally will go as close to the low end of trade in value as possible. The fact that they have a used unit with the economy in the current state says that they have some room to deal and if you are a serious buyer they will throw a few thousand down the hole...
The rule of thumb is to start negotiations at what you believe to be a ridiculously low number and let them come down and you go up a little and hopefully you will meet within both of your budget requirements.
