Cab roof noise

When I go over larger bumps or down a bumpy road, my cab roof makes a noise like the over cab part is buckling the roof and making it pop. Make sense? Does anyone else have this? Should I look for something in particular?

If you have the standard crank up antenna... it may be the wings slapping the top of the motorhome.

A loose (or at least not tight enough) roof vent lid would be my first suspect.

Mine had one with bad weather-stripping and a large bump or even a sudden change in wind 9like a big rig passing) would cause it to make a popping sound. It was the lid opening just a little then slamming back shut.

I'll second this.

I'll try raising the antenna a bit and the vent.

Be careful as it may bend like a pretzel if the wind catches. A little padding under the wing tips may be a better idea. Don't know for sure. Just thinking out loud( dangerous )
