Ceramic polish

I was looking for a detailer for my class A. One company that came highly recommended told me of a new product out that they can use, and are certified to apply by the manufacturer and is used instead of wax is a ceramic coating. It is guaranteed for either 6 or 12 years depending on the type you pick. He said my 34 foot Tiffin would cost about a grand to do but would.only.need washing instead of wash wax. Is anybody familiar with this type of product?
As always, thanks for any input.

I haven't personally used it.... yet. I have the kit just waiting to apply it to my car and boat. May do the RV but I have gel coat and vinyl stickers and it's a big job to DIY

I have asked several boaters about the feasibility of using it on fiberglass and the response has been very positive from the guys that have had it done.

The reports have been no wax necessary, just wash and dry, even the harsh water spots don't stick

A grand actually sounds like a very good price for a 34' RV.

I assume you are full body paint?

Confirm that price includes completely clay baring and polishing to remove any existing wax and imperfections prior to applying the ceramic coating.

Very important to make the surface a perfect as possible

If you get it done, please respond with your review....
