Chalking my shower

Hi
We have just purchased our first RV. It is a 2016 Jayco Red Hawk. I noticed that there is no chalking between the bottom of the shower wall and the top of the shower pan.
When I search on-line I see post to chalk and not to chalk.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Linda

don't caulk. The pan should have a lip, The wall sits on the inside of that lip. If there is any water getting on the exterior surface of that wall (behind the water knobs), it should run down the wall and into the pan. If you seal the pan, the water cannot do that.
