Now you can go and get the Curt license plate holder and slide your front plates into the receiver when you have nothing else in it. I slid the Curt license plate holder into the receiver and drilled a second hole in it so it didn't stick out so far. Fits up closer to the bumper and you don't bust your shins on it walking around the front.

Good idea for a license plate holder and I may get one for a decorative plate but North Carolina - where I live does not have a front tag.

Thanks to all for the front receiver advice - now if I can only find the correct bracket to carry my spare when I tow a small boat. Then I can launch it from the front to keep my rear wheels dry so I do not get stranded on a ramp.
