Class C attachment to van cab

So, while driving this past week, I hit a pretty major uplift in the road. I heard a loud pop right behind my left ear. Now, sometimes when driving, it seems there is a loose connection.
Does anyone know how the "home" is connected to the van chassis specifically right at the door frame of the driver's side?

The transition wall behind the cab and the bunkboard above the cab are often just attached to the cab by screws.

MichF. Thanks so much. Do you have any idea how I would access the connection right on the pillar(where the upper seat belt comes out?
That seems to be where the noise is

You would have to remove the upholstery and headliner to get access to the area. Chances are if there is a problem, it would be in the roof of the cab around the bunk cut out, and not the wall behind the cab.

Wow. Thanks so much for sharing those. We drove it for a long time afterwards (about 2000 miles) but occasionally could hear quite a noise.
