GM/Workhorse uses a diesel engine in a Class C motorhome chassis. It's the Duramax. See workhorse.com for details.

Winnebago makes a Class C on a Dodge Sprinter chassis (made in Germany by Mercedes) with a Mercedes diesel --- comes in a Winnebago version or an Itasca Navion version --- each has the choice of two floor plans --- all only in a 23' version, however. I'm getting 15 to 17 mpg with my View --- even WITH a toad.
Also, a BT Cruiser made by Gulf Stream, comes on a Ford chassis with a diesel. Several choices of length and floor plans here.

There are several using the PSD Ford. Smallest around 28'.

If you are looking for an older or vintage unit, Scotty made a diesel Class C, maybe 10-15 years ago.

Hi,
I Ordered a Class C in 1993 Ford E350 with a 7.3 Diesel it took a while to get it but it was worth it. We keep until 2000 then traded there was nothing wrong with it just wanted to change. That probley will be the best camper we will ever have. Good power never had any problems with it. It was a Four Winds 30' with a side isle.

Dynamax has just come out with another Class C Diesel in the Ford F series. The call it the Isata Touring Dedan. You might want to check it out.

We have a 27ft Xplorer built on a 002 Dodge Cummins Cab Chassis 6spd manual 4:10 gear now has 70k gets 11 to 13 mpg. depends how fast you drive
