We presently have a nice fifth wheel but I'm interested in a Class C in the future. My question is what brand and floorplan has a comfortable Bed and a Bathroom that works for a guy over 6 foot? Most of the units I've seen have a bathroom more suited to short, skinny people which doesn't describe me in the least. lol
I also would like a class c capable of towing a small car.
Any information would be appreciated.

Sprintnut, a Class C is a great family vehicle because it typically suited for accommodating sleeping for up to 6 people. About the bathroom space - well you are not going to get that in any type of size that will make you feel like it's the Taj. There are compromises.

In regard to towing a car look for a vehicle of 4,000 lb or less. You'll be glad you did!

It seems like most manufacturers have similar floorplan options. Other constraints (cost, sleeping capacity, fuel type, etc...) will quickly narrow your options. Many of the shorter Class C MH's have a full-sized bed wedged against the bathroom in the back. One bed corner is cut to allow more space for the bathroom door to open. We tried one of these and it was way too confined for a tall, wide person like me. We have a 31 ft Coachmen Leprechaun with a short queen in a full-width back bedroom, which is pretty comfortable. Our bathroom is just adequate.

Many newer Class C's have a full-width bath forward of the bedroom. This bath is much more spacious than ours, but at the expense of some storage space. Also make sure that you can go back and forth from the bedroom to the living area when the bath is in use. Not a big deal unless you have kids.

Good luck in your search. We love the convenience of having access to all of the RV accomodations while we are driving.

You looking for a class C with or woithout the Rug Rat Room over head? (Bunk over head)
Normal size class C or a large one?

You will have better luck finding a decent size bath in a Class A than a C. They are available in the same lengths, but the bathroom size gets betetr as the rigs get longer.

You could also consider a super-C such as the Jayco Seneca or Gulfstream Supernova.

I just wish they would or could make a class A that drives like a class C. I know about all the add on equipment you can put on an A, but it still will not handle like my C. I have owned 7 class A's and one Class C, a Cambria 26-A. It is great for two people tops. Handles like a pick up truck.

We were unhappy with a 24 ft Class C with a corner bed. Most of all stay away from a corner bed. It makes getting up in the middle of the night a real PITA. The bath and shower were barely usable. Presently our 28 foot TREK has a great large bath, great kitchen, and living area. The bed drops down from the ceiling. A goofy concept but for the two of us it works. And we are not full timing but use it 4 or 5 times a year. This class A also has automated Jacks which we enjoy. Setting up is a lot easier and it stabilizes better. Large class C's have automated jacks that work well.

Generally to get a decent size bath in a class C, you are going to have to get a rear bath which generally do not have a permanent bed. The bed will be in the cab over area, a fold down sofa or one that drops from the ceiling. If you go up to a Super C, you will find more room.

Yep, I have to agree with you on the bathroom thing, that is about the only thing that I don't like about out C. I have a sister-in-law who is pretty wide in the beam, I don't know if she would make into our bath, I think we had more space in the toilet area on our Real-Lite 1200 truck camper than we have in the C, its not a problem for the DW and I. Man if they would have just moved the wall a couple of inches back it would have been nice, but that would have been taking up floor space out of the bedroom and not a lot to spare there either. But can't have a mansion in just 29.5' but we do love our rig.
