class c modifications

my wife and I like our 31ft class c, (well mostly) But we want to make it more comfortable for us two. there is a booth across from the sofa in ours. The booth is uncomfortable for sitting and watching tv or with company. I am thinking of taking out the booth, installing another sofa with a table for eating but could be easily taken down when not in used. Has anyone done this and did it work out ok? any ideas or suggestions? All so we don't do but very little cooking on the gas stove/oven that is in our RV, most cooking is done outside or on the "new" Nuwave 2 that the wife loves, it is electric and really works well. So I am thinking of taking out the stove/oven and filling in the counter where it is and installing a new counter top. this will give more counter space and a large storage where the oven was. I am just rolling these ideas around in my head and on paper, so would love to hear from others with any ideas and suggestions. Plus I do love doing modifications on RV's to make it more to suit us. Not the first one I have done modifications but none like the above. thanks for any and all suggestions and ideas. I don't know of a forum for RV modifications especially for class C's. I had a Montana fifth wheel that I did quiet a few modifications but we had "Montana forum where a lot of people did extensive and minor modifications. I would like to hear from others here. Thank you

I thought about removing the booth, too.

In investigating things, I discovered that the converter, fuse panel, shore cord, a heat duct, and a bunch of wires, were under one.

I said, Forgetaboutit.

Consider talking the booth out and if the floor is flat, putting two euro type recliners or double recliner/sofa.
As for removing the stove/oven, unless you make it easy to reinstall it, removing it will kill resale value if you decide to sell at a later time. Next buyers might want/need a stove/oven and will pass on yours if not there.
