Hi Im sure this has been discussed on here .I have always had fifth wheels and Travel trailers. Just got my first Motor home Class C. I notice wind noise
and I am not sure where its coming from, Its not the cab windows and seems to be in t he area of the Awning rails. Is wind noise normal and has any body figured out how to stop it Thank you

Hello, I just bought mine too and I heard a constant flapping like noise as I was going at high speeds. I finally determined that it was the rubber weather stripping and I put some silicone caulk on it and it seemed to work. I'm not sure if thats the same type of noise you heard but that was my issue

Just purchased a Freedom Elite 21C and we noticed some wind noise while traveling. Somehow our overhead vents were not tightened correctly and some noise came from there. Once it was re-tightened the wind noise was greatly reduced.

Mine is from the awning arms. The wind passing through the tight space makes the noise. Only happens above 30mph or more.

I recently rented a Four Winds Majestic and it had tremendous wind noise. Later I bought a 1991 Lazy Daze and it runs very quiet. No noticeable wind noise at all.

It probably depends on the maker.

Also the rig I rented had the front window on the over-cab and my Lazy Daze does not. Perhaps that window was the source of the noise?

I should add that the rental had no awning and my own awning goes into a box with no exposed arms.
