Class C with large side slide

Please help. we're first time buyers. Would like to have suggestions on brand/models of class c units with the newer large slide floorplan. We have grandchildren and would like a unit that sleeps six. Also under 26'. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to iRV2 .

You have to be careful when your checking out any RV , be aware of chassis weight limitations , the more bells and whistles , slides, seating and sleeping area, sometimes will eat into the RV's , CCC ( Cargo Carrying Capacity ).
You need to look for the RV's weight sticker and check to see how much weight can be added without overloading the chassis . Picture below.
There is no standard location , usual is in a cupboard or closet .
JMHO: If you plan on carrying 6 people and their gear , you'll need at least 1,500lbs CCC. 2,000+ would be better.

You will have difficulty "making weight" in that small of a coach with six people.

I don't know. It seems the GVWR are pretty similar for a few models. The shorter ones weigh less so actually have more "available". Now the slide will use up some weight for sure though
