I would guess one must define what the toad is used for. We do a lot of two track road exploring that 1. the RV would be two big and 2. I would not try to put it on these back woods or desert roads for dirt roughness or traction. If you touring consists of paved county or better roads then other than the need to break camp all the time the C would work. Also in some places in national parks like Glacier National Park the road to the sun only the very smallest C would be legal, but even there the park service has tour bus's. For me running to the store for the forgotten what ever or out to dinner I'll tow, but for the weekend getaway(Since retired I do mid week) I will look at if just sitting by the fire or exploring is in the cards.
