Coachman Leprechan New Thread

So, the old thread wouldn't let me post, so here goes some new questions.

New to checking out the Coachman Leprechan 319DS and I like it a lot! For the same reasons others have stated, TV setup, outside table, double pane windows and so on. Also, I want the swivel seats. I have my own AV system that I want to install in my MH.

I'll be buying early next year.

So, one often hears of problems customizing the unit you want, instead of buying what's on the lot. I want to have levelers factory installed, and also an on demand HW heater, and even a composting toilet and some solar on the roof with an upgraded inverter. I assume that the solar installation and composting toilet is something I'll have to have done, maybe even the on demand HW heater.

Any thoughts/opinions on my desired customizations?

Thanks in advance!

We almost bought that one but the shower in the bedroom and the skinny toilet area drove us away. We ended up buying a Forest River Forester 3051s that were picking up on Saturday!

FWIW, if you want to post to an old thread, all you need to do is checkmark the box that states the thread is old but you still want to post to it. Then you'll be able to add to an old thread.

How is it one careless match can start a forest fire but it takes a whole box to start a campfire?

So far we are loving it. Have used it once but it's in the driveway so we play with it all the time!

Thanks for the review of your RV! I'm going to an RV show this weekend, there is supposed to be a Coachmen Leprechaun Class C there, I'm hoping that it's the 319DS. There is a dealer within 100 miles of me, so I'll probably hop down there to see if they have one too (calling first). I'll be spending most of my time in Austin, so thinking of buying in TX too.

Have you had any problems with water in the cap or around the shower pan, as has been reported other places? Maybe they fixed that problem, with the 319s and 317s.
