I kept in contact with my dealer salesperson.
I asked them to call me when the VIN was available.

From middle of front wheel to middle of door opening is approximately 79".
Hope this helps with your landscaping.

Just heard from Ron Ross at Coachmen.
The 'F' in 319DSF stands for Ford chassis versus Chevrolet chassis.

thanks

Ed, I don't have that answer. I haven't got the MH yet. Factory said it will be done on the 7th. I too would be interested in knowing that weight. My guess without all tanks full would be around 2000#...but I could be way off. Hopefully someone who knows will respond...John H...

I went and looked at a 319 today, and the CCC was 1550 dry, (no water, people, or cargo). Pretty lean. I also looked at a 280 and it had a CCC of 2050, and that included the outside kitchen option and TV. I figure eliminating the the kitchen and outside TV may add another 150-200 lbs to the CCC. We really like the 319, but if our RVing past is any indicator, we would generally be overweight and we do not travel near as heavy as others we know. We also dry camp periodically and 50 gallons translate to 400 plus pounds.

According to Leprechaun brochure, CCC is ~2230# w/I options as delivered.

The figure I gave you was printed on the yellow sticker (DOT I believe) inside the front driver's door. I'm sure if you eliminate options like (spare tire, generator, hydraulic leveling jacks -- weighty items which were on the the 319), plus the pop-up TV and fire place (all which I would want except the fireplace) you can obtain tthe brochure advertised CCC. By the way looking though the option list on the 319 I looked at, there were also other options that will incrementally add to the weight -- many of which I would want. All these items will take away from the 2230 lbs quoted by the brouchue. While I do not own a motor home, I have owned other RVs over the last 20 years. I have owned two fifth wheels over the last 11 years and when we purchased them, watched the options we choose add to the weight. As an example, the hydraulic leveling jacks system for our 2nd 5th wheel added almost 400 lbs. to the weight of the 5er we currently own. We opted not get them as it was near the weight of water we sometimes carry for dry camping. By the way, we are looking a smaller Class A's (less than 33') and found this same issue.

Wow, 1550 isn't very much. I did get the fireplace, but didn't want the outside camp sink, TV or Fridge so that will gain some. Don't dry camp much, so don't have to carry a lot of water. Will just have to be careful loading it.. Thanks for the info...
