Cold weather situation

Just a quick question. We live in a wooded area and are keeping our class c plugged in throughout the winter months. Using it as an extra room when the Grands come for the holidays. My question is this; my cord when plugging into shore power becomes cold stiff and frozen. When I try to wind up the cord I can barely get it into the cord storage area. Is there any easy way to get this done? Thanks for your help everyone.

You could leave the attached 30A shore cord coiled up inside the cord storage area and buy a second 30A shore extension cord, and store it inside your main dwelling to keep it warm. When you need to plug it in it will be pliable. Then when it's time to unplug bring it inside to warm it up again, and coil it afterwards. Rinse, repeat.
