Cruise America 23A

Anybody bought a RV from Cruise America???
We like their 23A, and wonder how they are to do business with, and how purchasers feel about the deal they got, or what they think.
I know they have a quite a few miles on them, and that concerns me a little.

Yes. My friend bought the 23A and we liked it and his experience was so good when we bought in 2012 we went w Cruise America.

We initially got the 23A but it ended up w a Serious roof rot issue and CA replaced the entire unit after determining fixing was going to be 6-10K .

They actually gave us the option of another 23A or a more expensive 28A w less miles. We upped to the 28 as we decided a bit more bedroom space and larger shower area suited us better.

They were really good about ensuring we had a good working Rv.

I'd buy again from them.

Speaks pretty highly of their customer service.
Thanks

Seems like they have a class operation from what I've read about them. While we're not looking to buy a well used rig people who are could do far worse IMHO.

Yes Mr D... I give them big Kudos for going above and beyond to give us a great working RV and they did not give us any grief nor make us wait weeks and months to get it taken care of... They're definitely not going to be everyone's ideal RV since they're fairly much "plain Jane" RVs, no slides, etc BUT for those that don't need a Full time Castle on the road and just want the comfort of kitchen, bed, shower beach cabin on the road they fit the bill

I didn't realize buying from them would even be an option. Pretty cool idea.

They all seem to have pretty high miles on them for the age. I think that would concern me a bit.

I purchased a 23A from them last October (Manassas, Va) and I couldn't be happier.

Very professional, upfront and bent over backwards to ensure I was getting a quality unit.

They also offer financing (I did better with my credit union) at 8% and a great extended warranty for the powertrain and a second one for the coach. I opted out of both, as I do a lot of wrenching on my own, but Cruise Americas price was $600 LOWER than anyone else I checked, and for the exact same coverage! (apparently, the middle man pockets the $600+ and pays the underwriter the actual policy balance).

I'm not positive, but I seem to remember them offering a 30 day warranty on the units as well.

Their prices are far below that of a dealer. I HIGHLY recommend them.

I'm into my 3rd year with my 23A now. No major issues so far. I'm writing this from my RV at the KOA in Natural Bridge, VA.

Yes they have higher Miles but today's big gas motors can go 250K easily if well serviced. Most people don't do more than 5-10K Miles a year so even if you buy a 120k mile rig, you'll have a lot of years left with it.
