Thanks for the heads-up. Newby here.
It is a 2005 Jayco. 23' Escapade. Hubby is wondering if you must run all of the water through the drains OR is there a drain plug to empty the H2O fresh water tank. That is the real question. Thanks.

Every unit I've ever had has had a drain plug.

There should be a fresh water tank drain valve. There is either a drain plug or an anode rod to be removed from the hot water heater to drain it. There is usually a drain for the cold and hot water lines in the system depending on mfg. of RV.

Some RV's come with a hot water by pass valve. This is set to bypass. So you do not waste your anti-freeze filling this tank.

I have a 2006 Jayco Greyhawk and I have 4 gravity drain tubes inside my service bay. After I gravity drain everything, including the hot water tank, I blow out the rest of the water with a special blow out fitting and a low pressure air compressor. If you use this method, keep the pressure low so you don't damage the plastic pipes. Then you can leave the pipes empty or add your antifreeze.
