Take the Key bridge but if you have EZPass you can run the gauntlet and stay on 95 thru the tunnel. MANY on this forum have taken an RV through the tunnel with no problems.

The only way to avoid the tunnels is the Francis Scott Key Bridge which is I-695. Not a bad route to take and generally less traffic than the other ways. Many of us try to avoid that whole stretch of I-95 by taking US 301 down the eastern shore (from just past the Delaware Memorial Bridge to just above Richmond, Va). Little longer less headaches and always moving. However if you plan it right on I-95/I-695 to avoid rush hours it is the fastest way to go. All depends if your vacation start at the destination or when you leave your house.

I-695 is the beltway that circles Baltimore. Either way will get you to I-95 again. BTW there is a stiff fine if you are caught going through the tunnels in Baltimore carrying propane. Just saying.
