Dually Valves Install - Tire Balance Required?

I recently had one of my rear outer tires go flat due to one of the flexible valve stem extenders. Since then I have purchased some Dually Valves that I will get the tire shop to install.

Question....when they install the Dually Valves do the tires need to be re-balanced?

Yes. I also had them install a TST 507 internal TPMS system at the same time as the tire was already dismounted. Not worried about battery life as it is 5-7 years, which is also the approximate tire life.

I have had 3 sets of dually valve stems installed on 19.5 tires and haven't had to rebalance any of the tires. The tire shop recommended that I drive the coach and see if the tires needed to be balanced before spending the money to balance them. YMMV
